Estimate the cost of your ceramics
LUXCERIVO helps the ceramist to plan a batch before producing it and to compare cost and selling price.
What data is needed?
Start from object, dimensions, material, finish, quantity and kiln. Enter your prices and workshop rates: the example values are not updated local quotations.
How is the cost calculated?
Each material contributes with the quantity used multiplied by the unit price. The work contributes with hours multiplied by hourly rate. For an electric kiln, the energy consumed in kWh multiplied by the kWh rate gives the energy cost of the firing; the share attributed to the batch depends on the load. Waste and other expenses must be consistent with the actual process.
Which version to choose?
- Free Planning
- Simplified path accessible without an account.
- Pro Planning
- Technical dimensions, detailed processes, kiln comparison and archive. Requires registration; conditions available on the subscription page.
- Full suite
- Includes catalog, presentations, offers, expenses and actual production costs. Access with registration.
Are the estimates accurate?
Number, geometry, removal, density, waste, kiln curve and load can change the result. Use measured data and check the results against actual production costs. Temperatures and cycles must comply with the kiln, clays and glazes manufacturer.
Language and market
The language does not determine the prices: currency, energy tariffs, materials and equipment must match the laboratory. International profiles are in preparation.
